Monsoon Brings Rain to Multiple Provinces, Heavy Rain Possible in Some Areas

Several areas in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces are experiencing light to moderate rain due to the ongoing monsoon, with scattered rainfall elsewhere. The Weather Forecasting Division reports partly to mostly cloudy skies across the country.

This afternoon, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible in hilly regions and other areas. The forecast also warns of heavy rain in isolated parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, as per this morning’s weather bulletin.
