
MP Pandey calls for informing parliament about Bajura earthquake


Nepali Congress lawmaker Badri Prasad Pandey has demanded the government informs the parliament about the earthquake with its epicentre in Bajura that hit the Sudurpaschim province this afternoon.
Seeking time from the Speaker in the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) today, he urged the Speaker to make a ruling to the government on the damage caused by the tremor.
The National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Centre stated that an earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale and with epicentre at Mela of Bajura occurred at 2.43 pm today.
