Mukesh Ambani Praises Modi, Acknowledges Him as India’s Most Successful PM

In a resounding endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s second richest person and Chairman of Reliance Industries, heaped praise on the Indian leader at the Vibrant Gujarat summit, the coastal state’s flagship investment event. Ambani, who, like Modi, hails from Gujarat, described the Prime Minister as the most successful in India’s history, attributing the state’s remarkable transformation to his leadership.

Addressing the audience at the summit, Ambani expressed his pride in being a Gujarati, stating, “When foreigners think of a new India, they think of a new Gujarat. How did this transformation happen? Because of one leader, who has emerged as the greatest global leader of our times – PM Modi, the most successful PM in India’s history.”

Ambani emphasized the enduring connection between his company, Reliance Industries, and Gujarat, declaring, “Reliance was, is and will always remain a Gujarati company.” He revealed that over one-third of the company’s staggering $150 billion investments in India over the last decade were concentrated in Gujarat, amounting to ₹12 lakh crores.

Speaking highly of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, Ambani dubbed it the “most prestigious investors’ summit in the world today,” acknowledging its two-decade legacy and attributing its success to Modi’s visionary leadership. The summit, initiated by Modi during his tenure as Gujarat’s Chief Minister, has consistently grown in prominence and influence.

Predicting a robust economic future for India, Ambani expressed optimism about the country becoming a $35 trillion economy by 2047, crediting Modi for laying the foundation for a “Vikasit Bharat” or a fully developed nation. He also foresaw Gujarat’s economy reaching $3 trillion, showcasing his confidence in the state’s economic potential.

Ambani concluded his address by encouraging young entrepreneurs to seize the opportunities in today’s India, emphasizing innovation and the potential to enhance the quality of life for millions. He thanked Modi for being both a nationalist and an internationalist, underlining the Prime Minister’s role in shaping a prosperous future for the nation.
