NA Advances Renewable Energy Bill

In a pivotal session today, the National Assembly has forwarded the ‘Bill relating to Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, 2081’ to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise deliberation.

Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sumana Shrestha, acting on behalf of Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, tabled the proposal for committee review. The motion garnered unanimous support from the assembly members.

The NA is set to reconvene tomorrow at 1:15 pm to continue proceedings.
