NA begins discussions on government policies, programmes

The National Assembly (NA) has begun deliberations on the government policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2023-24.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma presented a proposal, on behalf of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, before the session seeking discussions on the government policies and programmes for the coming fiscal year.
President Ram Chandra Poudel on May 19 presented the government new policies and programmes before the joint session of the Federal Parliament.
The proposal was entertained by the meeting and the upper house members continue to put their views on the matter.
