NA passes condolence motion over Ansari’s demise

A meeting of the National Assembly (NA) today endorsed a condolence motion over the demise of House of Representatives (HoR) member Manju Sharma Ansari.
NA Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal proposed the session to endorse the condolence and it was passed unanimously. Presenting the proposal, the NA Chair paid tributes to the departed soul and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
The meeting also observed one-minute silence over the passing away of Ansari. The 60-year-old Ansari, the lawmaker from the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal under the proportional representation system, died amidst the treatment on Sunday.
The upper house of the Federal Parliament shall meet again at 11:15 am on March 20, Wednesday.
