The nation has been grappling with the adverse impacts of intense heat over the past two days, with a notable absence of relief for those eagerly anticipating rainfall. According to meteorologists, the prospects of precipitation remain bleak, as they have predicted a continued absence of rains for the next three days.

Despite the anticipation of the imminent monsoon season in a few days, the country is presently burdened by scorching temperatures. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) recently released a forecast indicating a potential decrease in rainfall during the upcoming rainy season, with exceptions limited to certain regions in the eastern hills and the Terai.
