National Assembly to Hold Thematic Committee Chairperson Elections on March 17
The National Assembly is gearing up to conduct elections for the chairpersons of its thematic committees on March 17, 2024.
In accordance with Rule 150 of the National Assembly Rules, 2018, Chairperson Narayan Dahal officially announced the election dates.
Additionally, Dahal has directed National Assembly Secretary Dr. Surendra Aryal to publicize the election program to ensure transparency and participation.
The National Assembly comprises four thematic committees: the Sustainable Development and Good Governance Committee, Legislative Management Committee, Delegated Management and Government Assurance Committee, and Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee. These committees play a vital role in addressing various national issues and concerns.
