National Assembly vice Chair’s election scheduled for February 6

The election of the National Assembly Vice Chair will take place on February 6
National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina announced in the meeting of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament today that the date for the election of the Vice Chair has been fixed for that date.
The Vice Chair post had fallen vacant after the termination of the term of then Vice Chair Sashikala Dahal.
Chairman Timilsina has directed Dr Bharat Raj Gautam, the Secretary-General of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, to publish the schedule of the election to the post of National Assembly vice Chair as per the National Assembly Regulations.
