Nationwide Holiday Tomorrow for Qatari Emir’s Arrival in Nepal

The Government of Nepal has declared a public holiday on Tuesday, April 23, to honor the state visit of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar.
The announcement was made by Rekha Sharma, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and government spokesperson, following a Council of Ministers meeting on Monday.
Sheikh Tamim’s two-day visit, which begins on Tuesday, April 23, is expected to foster stronger diplomatic and economic ties between Qatar and Nepal.
