NC expelled three leaders of Bara district

Nepali Congress has expelled its three leaders of the Bara district accusing them of campaigning against the common candidate of the ruling coalition in the Bara-4 constituency.

Krishna Kumar Shrestha (Kisan) of CPN (Unified Socialist) is a common candidate the ruling coalition for the House of Representatives.

Issuing a statement, NC’s Central Discipline Committee Coordinator Ananda Prasad Dhungana said Bara district president Amirilal Raut Bhediyar, district committee member Hari Prasad Thapaliya and representative of the constituency Sushil Dhodari have been expelled from the party’s general membership.

The statement said disciplinary action has been taken against the trio as they have been found campaigning against the ruling coalition’s candidate.
