Ncell Recognized as Highest Taxpayer by Lalitpur Metropolitan City
Ncell has been honored as the highest institutional taxpayer by Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) for its significant tax contributions during the last fiscal year.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and LMC Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan presented a certificate of honor to Ncell’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Jabbor Kayumov, during a ceremony marking the 106th anniversary of LMC’s establishment.
LMC acknowledged Ncell’s substantial tax contributions as instrumental in supporting the city’s development and prosperity. “We are grateful to Lalitpur Metropolitan City for recognizing our contributions. As one of the major taxpayers, we are proud to play a crucial role in Nepal’s economic growth and development,” said Kayumov during the event.
Since its inception, Ncell has paid over NPR 300 billion in taxes and fees, including NPR 20.30 billion in the last fiscal year alone. Additionally, the company has invested over NPR 2 billion in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, benefiting more than 13 million people nationwide.
