Nepal Airlines Plane in Tel Aviv: 250 Nepalese Eager to Return Home

In a crucial mission to repatriate Nepalese citizens affected by the ongoing conflict in Israel, a Nepal Airlines plane successfully arrived in Tel Aviv today.

The flight, which departed from Tribhuvan International Airport at 3:30 am on Thursday, touched down at Tel Aviv International Airport later in the day. The mission includes a delegation led by Foreign Minister NP Saud, who has traveled to Israel to coordinate the evacuation efforts.

The Nepal Airlines A330 plane made a brief stopover at Dubai airport before proceeding to Tel Aviv, taking off at 10:46 am local time. Approximately 250 Nepali nationals, who have expressed a desire to return to Nepal, have gathered at Tel Aviv airport for their repatriation.

In the initial phase, the airline will accommodate the 250 Nepalese citizens and remain at Tel Aviv airport for two hours. Subsequently, the flight, with its Nepali passengers, is scheduled to depart for Dubai at 1:10 pm local time. The plane is expected to arrive in Kathmandu at 9 pm after its stopover in Dubai.

The evacuation mission follows the tragic loss of 10 Nepali students in an attack by the Palestinian militant group Hamas in Israel. In response, the Nepali government is taking measures to rescue and bring home other Nepali citizens affected by the conflict.
