Nepal Art Expo Showcases Creations of 119 Artists from 14 Countries

The Nepal Art Expo, featuring artworks by 119 artists from 14 countries, has commenced at the Nepal Art Council in Babarmahal. The three-day event aims to foster cultural and artistic exchange among participating nations.

Chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Narad Mani Hartamchhali, highlighted that the expo serves as a platform for international collaboration and learning. “This exhibition not only facilitates cultural exchange but also provides artists with opportunities to enhance their skills and broaden their perspectives,” he remarked.

Seventy Nepali artists are participating in the event, which is organized by the NSG International Artists Group. Artists from Bangladesh, India, France, Britain, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mexico, Argentina, Uzbekistan, Poland, the Czech Republic, Turkey, and Austria are also showcasing their creations.

As part of the expo, a workshop on traditional Nepali art is being held today. Sushma Shrestha, Nepal’s representative for the event, emphasized the importance of the workshop, noting that it provides artists with valuable insights into Nepal’s rich artistic heritage.

The expo promises to be a vibrant celebration of global art and culture, offering a unique opportunity for both artists and art enthusiasts to connect and collaborate.
