Nepal-Japan Trade Relations Strengthened: PM Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli expressed optimism that the Third Nepal-Japan Friendship Summit-2025 would significantly bolster bilateral relations between Nepal and Japan.

During a meeting with the visiting Japanese delegation and Nepali coordinators at his official residence in Baluwatar, PM Oli highlighted that government-to-government and people-to-people relations between the two nations are now expanding into trade partnerships.

“Nepalis have reached Japan for employment, and Nepal’s buckwheat is available in the Japanese market, while Nepal imports Golden Trout from Japan. Our friendship is profound, blossoming like Sakura. The time has come to elevate these ties through information technology,” he remarked.

Acknowledging Japan’s remarkable transformation from war-torn destruction to a model of peace and development, PM Oli extended his wish for global peace.

The three-day Summit, held from February 26 to 28, was jointly organized by Lead Ex Nepal under Idea Studio Nepal and the Fourth Valley Concierge Corporation.
