Nepal Secures Victory Against Sri Lanka in CAVA Women’s Volleyball Nations League Opener

Nepal got off to a winning start by defeating Sri Lanka in the CAVA Women’s Volleyball Nations League that began in the capital today. Nepal triumphed over Sri Lanka in straight sets, winning 3-0 in the match held at the National Sports Council Covered Hall in Tripureshwar. The host team clinched the first set 25-19, the second set 25-18, and the third set 25-19.

In the second match of the day, Iran will face off against India.

Host Nepal is scheduled to play its second match against India this coming Saturday. The inaugural CAVA Women’s Volleyball Nations League features teams from India, Iran, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and hosts Nepal.

Nepal is hosting the tournament in collaboration with the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA).
