Nepal Set to Kick Off ICC CWC League 2 Series Against Namibia
The schedule for the highly anticipated ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 series, featuring Nepal, Netherlands, and Namibia, has been officially released, stirring excitement among cricket enthusiasts.
Commencing on February 15th and running through February 25th, the action-packed series will unfold at the TU International Cricket Ground, promising thrilling encounters.
In a much-anticipated opener, Nepal will face off against Namibia on February 15th, setting the stage for a riveting competition. The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) unveiled the detailed match schedule, indicating Nepal’s subsequent clashes against Netherlands on February 17th and February 25th, with another encounter against Namibia slated for February 21st.
All matches are scheduled to commence at 9:15 am and will take place at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, as confirmed by CAN.
Nepal, with a commendable performance last year, participated in 36 league matches, securing the third position with 40 points. Meanwhile, Namibia closely followed in the standings, finishing fourth with just one point less.
