Nepal Stock Exchange Witnessed Moderate Decline on Wednesday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a slight setback on Wednesday as it dropped by 2.48 points, closing at 2,108.72 points. Similarly, the sensitive index also saw a minor decline, dropping by 0.48 points to close at 374.65 points.
Trading activity remained active with a total of 10,889,634-unit shares from 310 companies being traded, amounting to Rs 4.24 billion.
Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) emerged as the top gainer of the day, witnessing a significant surge of 9.99 percent in its price. Conversely, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Ltd (UPPER) experienced a downturn, becoming the top loser with its price dropping by 10.00 percent.
Despite the fluctuations, the total market capitalization stood strong at Rs 3.31 trillion by the end of the trading day.
