
Nepal won SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship title


Nepal has won the title of SAFF Women’s U-15 Championship undergoing in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Nepal held Bangladesh to a 1-1 draw in the decisive match in Dhaka.
In the competition held on the basis of double round robin, Nepal scored 10 points from four matches.
Nepal remained the only undefeated team in the tournament. Bangladesh was limited to seven points.
This is the second time in women’s football history that Nepal has won the title. This is the first time that Nepal has won the title in South Asian football.
