
Nepali Ambassador Meets Cambodian Prime Minister, Discusses Bilateral Ties


Ambassador Dhan Bahadur Oli, Nepal’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Cambodia, paid a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh on Friday.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Hun Manet congratulated Ambassador Oli on his appointment and expressed satisfaction with the strong bilateral ties between Nepal and Cambodia. He emphasized the need to further enhance cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, and tourism. The Prime Minister assured his full support in strengthening Nepal-Cambodia relations during Oli’s tenure.
Ambassador Oli conveyed warm greetings from Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and the people of Nepal, extending best wishes for the Cambodian leader’s good health and the prosperity of his nation.
In addition, Ambassador Oli held discussions with senior Cambodian officials, including Minister of Cults and Religion Chay Borin, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs UN Kheang, Director General of the Department of Asia-Pacific Chhay Makara, and Director General of Legal, Consular, and Border Affairs Tho Samnang. Their talks focused on various aspects of bilateral cooperation and mutual interests.
