Nepali and Sri Lankan Prime Ministers Discuss Bilateral Ties at BIMSTEC Summit

Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya today on the sidelines of the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit in Thailand. Their discussions focused on bilateral relations and mutual areas of interest between the two nations.

Accompanying PM Oli in the meeting were Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Political Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, and Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, along with other senior officials.

As part of his official visit to Thailand, PM Oli has been actively engaging in sideline meetings with leaders from BIMSTEC member states, strengthening Nepal’s diplomatic ties and regional cooperation efforts.
