Nepali Congress General Secretary Emphasizes Equality Under the Law in Chitwan Address

Gagan Kumar Thapa, the general secretary of the Nepali Congress (NC), delivered a resounding message on the equality of law for all during his visit to Chitwan as part of the NC’s citizen dialogue programme. Leader Thapa asserted that no one is above the law, stating, “Law is equal for all. All should be respected within the rule of law.”

Addressing a gathering during the citizen dialogue programme, Thapa shared insights into his efforts to gauge public opinion on critical issues such as the upcoming budget, electoral system, health, education, and overall development. He underlined the importance of upholding the rule of law and ensuring that every individual is treated with respect and equality. Thapa also revealed the initiation of a campaign by the Nepali Congress, aligning its actions with the aspirations of the people.

During the event, NC Chitwan President Rajeswor Khanal and Regional President Bharat Lamichhane shed light on various facets of the campaign, emphasizing the party’s commitment to addressing the concerns and desires of the citizens.
