Nepali Congress Leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala to Address UK Parliament
Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala is set to address the UK Parliament on January 13, as part of a special programme hosted by British lawmakers.
According to Dr. Koirala’s Private Secretariat, the event will feature prominent figures including Catherine West, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and Gareth Thomas, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Department for Business and Trade. Several other British parliamentarians are also expected to attend.
Dr. Koirala is scheduled to leave for the UK on January 9, following an invitation extended by lawmakers Catherine West and Gareth Thomas.
This engagement marks a significant platform for strengthening Nepal-UK relations and promoting dialogue on shared interests between the two nations.
