Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Dhanraj Gurung has taken a bold step in Parliament, submitting a petition demanding action against Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
Accusing Lamichhane of defaming opposition lawmakers, Gurung highlighted instances of falsified facts and exaggerated claims, particularly regarding the red passport issue, which had already been resolved by the Supreme Court over a decade ago.
Handing the petition to Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Gurung emphasized the importance of maintaining the dignity of Parliament. He challenged Lamichhane to substantiate his allegations and called for repercussions if he fails to do so.
