Nepali Embassy in Saudi Arabia Marks National Democracy Day

The Embassy of Nepal in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, commemorated National Democracy Day on Wednesday with a special program honoring the nation’s struggle for democracy.

During the event, Nepal’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Naresh Bikram Dhakal, paid tribute to the sacrifices of Shukraraj Shastri, Dashrath Chand, Dharmabhakta Mathema, and Gangalal Shrestha, acknowledging their pivotal role in establishing democracy in Nepal.

As a mark of respect, attendees observed a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs who dedicated their lives to securing democracy and civil rights, the embassy stated.
