Nepali MP Sobita Gautam Named “Young World Politician of the Year”

Sobita Gautam, a Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been honored with the prestigious “Young World Politician of the Year” award. The recognition was bestowed upon her by One Young World, an organization that identifies and celebrates young leaders between the ages of 18 and 35.
Among numerous candidates from across the globe, Gautam was shortlisted as one of the 15 finalists by One Young World. The organization highlighted her exceptional popularity and significant influence in the field of politics, as well as her dedicated efforts in leading an anti-corruption campaign.
Finally, it was Nepal’s very own Sobita Gautam who emerged victorious, claiming the coveted “Young World Politician of the Year Award” by One Young World. Her achievements and commitment to promoting positive change through politics have garnered international acknowledgment and admiration.
