Nepali Student Leaders Head to Delhi for BJP’s ABVP Conference
Samik Badal, the Chairman of All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), and Dujang Sherpa, the President of Nepal Student Union (NSU), have embarked on a visit to India. The two prominent student leaders, affiliated with CPN-UML and Nepali Congress respectively, have been invited by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) – the ideological fountainhead of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The purpose of their visit is to participate in the 69th National Conference of ABVP, which commenced today, December 7, and is scheduled to continue until December 10. The conference is being held at Indraprastha Nagar in Delhi and holds special significance as it marks the 75th anniversary of ABVP’s formation.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is recognized not only as the largest student organization in India but also boasts the title of being the largest in the world. The conference is expected to host a diverse range of discussions, seminars, and events, bringing together student leaders from various backgrounds and affiliations.
