Speaking in the Parliament, Prime Minister Prachanda underscored the necessity of obtaining a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) for Nepalis traveling to Russia and urged diplomatic efforts for the repatriation of those already enlisted.
Addressing concerns raised by Members of Parliament, Prime Minister Prachanda highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and rights of Nepali citizens abroad. He emphasized ongoing communication with Russian authorities to repatriate the deceased, compensate families of victims, and secure the release of Nepali citizens held by Ukrainian forces.
