NEPSE Index Rises by 11.58 Points on First Day of Weekly Trading

The NEPSE index saw an increase of 11.58 points today, closing at 2,588.35 on the first day of this week’s share trading.
According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), over 12.48 million shares from 325 companies were traded, with a total business volume exceeding Rs 5.9 billion.
Most sectors witnessed gains, except for finance, hotel, production, microfinance, and mutual funds, which saw declines. Eastern Hydropower, Atmanirbhar Laghubitta, and Upper Sangee Hydropower hit a positive circuit, while Rawa Energy Development faced the steepest loss, dropping by 8.65%.
CEDB Hydropower Development Company led the market in terms of transaction value, recording trades worth Rs 278 million.
