New Rs 300 Million Hospital Building Ready for Service in Nawalpur

A newly constructed Provincial Hospital building in Madhyabindu, Nawalpur is set to begin operations in a few days. Built at a cost of Rs 300 million, the project was jointly funded by the Gandaki Province Government, which contributed Rs 120 million, and the Nepal Hilfe Organization, which provided Rs 180 million.

Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Ramesh Prasad Acharya stated that the upgraded facility will significantly improve healthcare services in the region. Previously, the hospital, which was originally designed as a 15-bed facility, had been operating with 80 beds due to the high influx of patients, despite lacking adequate infrastructure. Dr. Acharya emphasized that the expanded hospital will help address the growing demand for medical services.
