Newly appointed Finance Minister Paudel assumes office

The newly appointed Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has assumed office as the Minister of Finance.

After taking the oath of office and secrecy at the President’s Office in Shital Niwas, Finance Minister Paudel reached the Ministry of Finance to assume office on Monday evening.

After taking the oath of office and secrecy before president Bidya Devi Bhandari, minister Paudel assumed office by reaching Singhadurbar on Monday evening.

This is the third time Paudel has become the finance minister. He is the Vice Chairman of CPN-UML.
