Newly-elected NA Chair Dahal pledges to enhance prestige of upper house

Newly elected Chairperson of the National Assembly (NA), Narayan Prasad Dahal, stated that he would take initiative to enhance the prestige and importance of the upper chamber of the Federal Parliament.
Speaking to media personnel after his election, Chair Dahal expressed his commitment to uniting NA members from all parties to fulfill the institution’s roles and responsibilities. He also expressed confidence in his ability to succeed in this endeavor.
Dahal emphasized that he would take every activity falling within NA’s jurisdiction seriously and would actively participate in formulating laws while also enhancing the prestige of the NA in various contexts.
