OIC meeting to propose actions regarding strategy, resources

The Government of Kazakhstan, and the General Secretariat of OIC are jointly organizing the 1st Senior Officials Meeting of the OIC-15 Dialogue Platform which begins on December 1 in Islamabad. COMSTECH is hosting the meeting at its Secretariat.
The meeting will deliberate and decide the various proposed initiatives with regard to the strategy, resources, and collective actions.
The OIC-15 is an initiative of Kazakhstan that aims to bring together scientifically and technologically more advanced member states of the Islamic countries.
The Organizing Islamic Conference-15 is a move initiated by the Government of Kazakhstan, aiming to bring together the scientifically and technologically more advanced member states, so as to track major technological initiatives collectively.
The OIC-15 has received the backing of various high-level forums like the Council of Foreign Ministers and is being organized as a Ministerial level body that will be aided by Expert Groups specializing in various fields of science and technology.
The participant in the upcoming meeting will discuss, deliberate, and adopt the various proposed actions with regard to the strategy, resources, and combined actions required for their implementation.
Officials from Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tunisia, Qatar, Iran, Malaysia, and Indonesia are attending the meeting physically, while Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Turkiye, Azerbaijan, and Cameroon will make their online representation.
