Oli and Nepal’s Smiling Reunion [Photos]

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and CPN-Unified Socialist Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal were seen together in a friendly encounter. Oli took to Facebook to share three photos of their meeting at the International Relations and Tourism Committee session held today in the House of Representatives.

The photos, posted on Oli’s Facebook page, captured both leaders in a rare smiling pose. Oli’s caption read, “Three photos of the meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee in the House of Representatives held today. Good evening.”

The sighting is notable due to the strained relationship that developed between Oli and Nepal following the separation of Madhav Nepal and the subsequent formation of the Unified Socialist party. The split of the former CPN had led to a period of accusations and mutual animosity between the two leaders.
