Oli Commends Mohan Mainali’s ‘Mukam Ranamaidan’ in Post-Campaign Read
Following the triumphant conclusion of the mid-hill-centric political campaign by the CPN-UML on Sunday, UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has wasted no time diving into his next endeavor – a literary journey. After hoisting the national flag at Chiwabhanjyang in Paanchthar to mark the end of the over two-week political odyssey, Oli, known for his affinity for literature, delved into the recently published work by established journalist Mohan Mainali.
The campaign, spanning 17 days and covering vast territories from Jhulaghat in Baitadi district to Chiwabhanjyang in the far-eastern part of the country, concluded on December 18.
Taking to Facebook today, Oli shared a photo of himself engrossed in a book, captioning it, “After three weeks of travel… I have also read other books of Mohan Mainali, an established journalist in investigative writing. Got his recently published book ‘Mukam Ranamaidan’. The historical facts of the British war in Nepal have been researched and presented well. It’s interesting. Congratulations to Mohan Mainaliji.”
Mohan Mainali’s ‘Mukam Ranamaidan,’ a historical exploration of the British war in Nepal, has been available in the market since November 26. Oli’s commendation adds to the acclaim for Mainali’s work, establishing it as a noteworthy contribution to the literary landscape.
