Oli Urges Unity Against Human Trafficking
CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli has said human trafficking and transportation is the taboo of the entire human civilisation and wider public awareness is needed to combat it.
In his message on the occasion of the 17th National Day against Human Trafficking today, the former Prime Minister urged one and all to unite against this crime so as to advance towards the building of just and safe society.
He said the party is committed to joining hand in any effort aiming to prevent the human trafficking. He also urged the government to build reliable legal ground and structures to prevent the human trafficking.
Nepal observes September 6 each year is marked as the national day against human trafficking to commemorate the ratification of the SAARC Convention against Trafficking in 2007.
