Oli’s Scolds Central Members: No Phones in Meetings!
Chairman of CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli, scolded the central committee members during the meeting. He expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of discipline among the leaders after the mobile phones of several central members rang repeatedly during the session.
“I have repeatedly reminded everyone to switch off their phones. What harm comes from being disconnected for a while?” Oli questioned during the meeting. “I don’t have a mobile phone now, but that’s perfectly fine. If allowed to scream, if not closed mouth, then even my mobile phone knows how to scream, correct?”
Oli conveyed his frustration at the lack of discipline and emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum during meetings. “It’s imperative to keep your mobile phones on silent mode or switch them off during our discussions,” he asserted. “We all must uphold discipline during these gatherings. What’s the point of constantly answering calls and saying hello?”
In an attempt to curb this behavior, Oli reminded the central members twice during the meeting, which took place in Chyasal.
