One Dead, Three Injured in Baitadi Road Accident

A jeep accident in Baitadi on Friday night claimed one life and left three others injured.

Chanchal Dayal, 54, of Pancheshwor Rural Municipality–5, succumbed to his injuries at the District Hospital, police said.

The incident occurred at Nanigad in Dasharathchand Municipality–11, when a jeep (BAC 5659) veered off the road and plunged 40 meters below.

The injured include 52-year-old Laliram Koli, driver Rakesh Koli (35), and Kabita Pariyar (30), who are receiving treatment at the District Hospital.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
