Parliament Passes Bill for Business Environment Reforms

The House of Representatives has approved the “Bill to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Economic and Business Environment Reforms and Investment Promotion, 2081”, aimed at improving the nation’s investment landscape.

The bill was presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel and passed with a majority vote. Earlier amendment proposals to the bill were rejected.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire confirmed the approval, and the House of Representatives will convene its next meeting on March 26.
