Parliament Session to End at Midnight Today

President Ramchandra Paudel has decided to prorogue the current session of both houses of the Federal Parliament from midnight tonight.

The decision follows a recommendation from the Council of Ministers, in accordance with Article 93(2) of the Constitution of Nepal. The Cabinet meeting on Monday had formally proposed the session’s closure, which has now been approved by the Head of State.
