Parliamentary committees’ members reshuffled
The House of Representatives (HoR) has reshuffled members in its thematic committees and the parliamentary hearing committee.
In the meeting of HoR here today, the proposal seeking reshuffle of the members in those committees was endorsed by the parliamentarians.
Accordingly, Shyam Kumar Ghimire has replaced lawmaker Ramesh Lekhak and Dol Prasad Aryal replaced Dr Swarnim Wagle in the parliamentary hearing committee.
Similarly, State Affairs and Good-Governance Committee has got Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Purna Bahadur Khadka, Rabi Lamichhane and Rajendra Kumar Rai as members of the State Affairs and Good-Governance Committee while Hari Dhakal has been shifted from the Committee to Public Accounts Committee.
Likewise, Rekha Sharma and Sumana Shrestha have been added to the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee. Meena Yadav has been shifted to Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee from the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee.
The Finance Committee has got Padam Giri, Bhagawati Chaudhary, Barshaman Pun and Biraj Bhakta Shrestha while Hari Prasad Uprety and Hit Bahadur Tamang have been added to International Relations and Tourism Committee.
Raghubir Mahaseth and Dol Prasad Aryal have been added to the Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Committee. Jwala Kumari Shah has been brought to Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee while parliamentarian Shakti Bahadur Basnet has been added to the Physical Infrastructure Committee.
