Partly Cloudy Weather in Hilly Regions, Fair Weather Elsewhere, Forecasts Department of Hydrology and Meteorology

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology reported that the weather across Nepal is currently partly cloudy in the hilly regions, while fair skies prevail over the rest of the country. The partial influence of westerly winds and localized winds in the hilly areas is contributing to this weather pattern.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the hilly areas in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are expected to experience partly to generally cloudy weather, with fair conditions across the remaining regions. Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely at a few locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki, with similar conditions possible in one or two places in the hills of other provinces.

Tonight, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki will likely continue to experience partly to generally cloudy skies. The forecast indicates light to moderate rain, with isolated thunder and lightning in some areas of these regions.
