Party needs to go to people: General Secretary Chand

General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ has said his party needs to be with people to solve the problems they are facing in the wake of economic crisis. Exorbitant interest rate, loan sharking and problems in educational sectors are pressing at present, he viewed.

At a press meet organized to make public the decision of 9th central committee (third full meeting) of the party on Wednesday, General Secretary Chand said that his party had passed the political proposal to take ahead unified people’s revolution. He said he party would wage struggle for the political and economic rights of the people including related to daily livelihood, farmers, entrepreneurs, martyrs family and others.

“Protection of entrepreneurs with relief distribution in view of the bankruptcy is essential,” he said, adding that his party is of the policy to unify with the parties with a vision of scientific socialism.
