Party’s Growth Anchored in Grassroots Engagement, Not Criticizing the President, Says Deuba

Sher Bahadur Deuba, the President of Nepali Congress, emphasized that the party’s strength cannot be solely achieved by criticizing the president. Speaking at the inaugural session of the Nepali Congress District Working Committee’s first district conference in Lalitpur on Saturday, President Deuba emphasized the need for the party’s growth to be rooted among the people rather than relying on insults or protests.

President Deuba asserted his role in leading the Nepali Congress to become the foremost political party and expressed his commitment to continue strengthening the party in the future. He made it clear that he won’t become the party’s president in the days to come.
