Performance contract signed between Home Secretary and IGP Kunwar
A performance contract has been signed between Secretary at Ministry of Home Affairs, Dinesh Bhattarai, and Inspector General of Police (IGP), Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, on Friday.
Amid a programme organized at the Ministry of Home Affairs, they also exchanged the contract which reflected all its responsibilities, including peace and security, service delivery, good governance and development works.
Secretary Kunwar assured that there would be facilitation and guidance in policy level apart from high-level of coordination and cooperation from the Ministry of Home Affairs for the mobilization of resources while implementing the contract.
Furthermore, he expressed his confidence that there would be all-out effort, thinking and dedication from both parties to execute the matters, programmes and projects as mentioned in the agreement.
The agreement between the two was made in line with the Good-Governance (Management and Operation) Act-2064 BS’s Clause 19 and Good (Management and Operation) Regulations-2065 BS’s Rule no 11.
