Permission to remand Sandeep in custody for five more days

The Kathmandu District Court has granted permission to keep cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane in custody for five more days for investigation.

The deadline for the investigation ended on October 12.

The Kathmandu District Court had on October 13 granted permission to detain cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane for seven days for investigation.

Cricketer Lamichhane has been claiming innocence at the court.

He was arrested on rape charges at the Tribhuvan International Airport soon after his arrival in Nepal.
