PM Dahal congratulates national cricket team

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has congratulated the Nepali national men’s cricket team for achieving success in the last match of the triangular one-day series of ICC Men’s World Cup Cricket League-2.

Prime Minister congratulated the national team for getting qualified for the ICC world Cup Qualifier by defeating the UAE.

Prime Minister Prachanda took to his social media account to congratulate the Nepali team for a thrilling 2-wicket win over ICC Cricket World Cup League Two champions Scotland. “I congratulate the Nepali team for a clean sweep of the series at home with a thrilling two-wicket victory over the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two champions Scotland and I wish all the players continued progress,” he has said in the message.

Prime Minister Dahal had also made a visit to the Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University (TU) Cricket Ground to witness a match between Nepal and the United Arab Emirates.

Nepal has been selected for the ICC World Cup qualifier defeating the UAE (United Arab Emirates) by nine runs in the game held today .
