PM Dahal Stresses Transparency: Indian Side Clearly Informed on Border Issue

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda reiterated Nepal’s firm stance on resolving the border issue with India during a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday. He emphasized that addressing the border matter is crucial for Nepal-India relations to reach new heights, stating that it marks the first occasion where a Nepali Prime Minister has raised the issue with such gravity. Prime Minister Dahal affirmed that both Nepal and India are committed to resolving the issue, underscoring its utmost importance to both nations.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Dahal highlighted that there is no ambiguity regarding the options for resolving the border issue, specifically mentioning Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh, and Kalapani. He made it clear that he has not presented any specific choices to the Indian side. During his meetings with Indian leaders, he took a firm position on the matter, prioritizing the protection of Nepali territory and emphasizing the significance of resolving the border issue.
