PM Oli Holds ‘Positive and Good’ Talks with Indian PM Modi in Bangkok

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli described his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “positive and good,” following their one-on-one talks held in Bangkok today.

Speaking briefly to the RSS special representative after the meeting, Prime Minister Oli said, “I and Indian Prime Minister Modi-ji have had a good and positive dialogue. So much for now.”

The two leaders held a 45-minute discussion at Hotel Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, shortly after the conclusion of the Sixth Summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

This meeting marks their second interaction in recent months, the last being on September 23, 2024, in New York on the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly.
