PM Oli Meets Players of KP Oli Cup Football Championship

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met with players and organizers of the Third KP Oli Cup Football Championship today, extending his support to the ongoing tournament.

During the meeting, a total of Rs 200,000 was handed over for the medical treatment of the mother of Prakash Ruchal, the official commentator of the Cup and a member of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). The amount included Rs 100,000 from the KP Oli Club and an additional Rs 100,000 from the Prime Minister’s spouse, Radhika Shakya. Ruchal’s mother is currently battling cancer.

The meeting was attended by ANFA President Pankaj Rai and Youth Association President Kshitiz Thebe, among others.

Organized by the National Youth Association Nepal, the championship began on February 23 and will conclude on March 4. The winning team will receive Rs 1,511,111, while the runner-up will be awarded Rs 500,000, as per the tournament organizers.
